It was very interesting seeing some of the old objects that the Herbert has behind closed doors. It is a shame that we can't get this close to them when you visit a gallery, but it was interesting to hear about why you can't, and the various conditions that are needed for some things. I chose these objects because I used to be a tailor, so recognise good craftsmenship, espcially in clothing!
